NUNA Solutions participates in CORALIA, a pilot project aimed at developing and validating an intelligent system to improve the management of slaughterhouse lairage areas through digital technologies, artificial intelligence and IoT.
Three main objectives
WATER Optimise water consumption and move towards adaptive cleaning cycles.
ANIMAL WELFARE Improve the monitoring of animal conditions and their environment.
DATA AND TRACEABILITY Integrate lairage data into digital management and analysis systems.
Main areas of work
- Automation of cleaning cycles according to the actual condition of the animals and lairage areas.
- Collection and analysis of water consumption data.
- Application of computer vision and AI to analyse the level of dirtiness of the animals.
- Monitoring of environmental parameters related to animal welfare.
- Decision-support systems for operators.
- Integration of data into a digital platform for visualisation and analysis.
The pilot is being carried out in a real pig slaughterhouse environment, with the aim of validating the technology under actual production conditions and assessing its potential for replication in other facilities within the sector.
